This year’s PAX East was something new for us, we partnered up with the China Indie Game Alliance (CIGA) and TapTap to bring some of China’s best indie games to Boston. The China Indie Arena featured a massive variety of games from a range of genres including roguelike, action, horror, and platforming. We even had a VR experience with awesome horror title Dying Reborn.

Gamers really connected with the Chinese games and it was great to see people from all other the world checking out games that wouldn’t have been there without the China Indie Arcade. We had one goal, to help Chinese developers enjoy one of the most incredible gaming conventions in the world and I think we can safely say that was exactly what we did.

Games like Hidden Dragon Legend, ICEY and Lost Castle grabbed gamers attention with awesome gameplay and 2D action. While Original Journey and Home Behind caught everyone’s eyes with their unique art styles. Even heart strings were pulled by X.D’s upcoming reboot of To The Moon and the incredibly cute I and Me.

Another Indie was over the moon to have been one of the lead organizers of the event and it’s tough to express personally how incredible it felt to see the booth come together. You can check out the full range of games we had here and feel free to track them down!

Finally, I would just like to say a big thank you to all the games who joined us at this event. It was something special and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish in the future.  Hopefully, there will be another China Indie Arcade sometime soon.
